Dear Parents/Guardians:

The summer assignment for Science for incoming 6th graders is as follows:

Each student needs to read a biography of a famous scientist.  A book report will be written upon completion of the book. Please include any/all relevant information about the life of this scientist, what they are famous for doing/inventing/discovering.  Discuss the lasting impression the scientist and their work had on the scientific community and the world. This is to be done in report form with the name and image of the scientist on the front cover.

Thank you,

Mrs. Gammone
